All hands VR
How do you show someone the most intense workplace on Earth? The deck of an aircraft carrier is a chaotic, high-stakes ballet, and you can’t exactly bring one to a recruiting event.
So, we built one in VR. “All Hands”, is a 5-person, experience that puts a team on the deck of USS Gerald R. Ford to launch an F-35 Jet.
My job was to make it feel REAL as possible. Ensuring that the experience was as authentic and accurate to existing roles in the Navy. Everything from the controlled chaos, the critical teamwork, the Sailor-speak dialogue, to the roar of the jet in a way that was both engaging and realistic to players.
Touring the US now, it’s the closest you get to an active flight deck without having joined the Navy.
