Background

November, the time of the year when we see gentlemen across the nation sporting their "No-Shave November" facial hair. Dollar Shave Club wanted to participate in the post November activities. Most "No-Shave November" beards are shaved completely off. We created a beard styling competition so that those men who braved the growth process could be proud of their "creations". Using Facebook and Twitter, we encouraged users to submit images of their beards in order to win $1000 that would be donated to any cancer research foundation of their choice.
